Black Forest gâteau

Light chocolate sponge cake soaked with cherry punch with the addition of alcohol, with layers of fluffy whipped cream and succulent cherries. The sides are covered with dark chocolate flakes, and the top is decorated with fresh seasonal fruit or star-shaped dollops of whipped cream and cherries in thick cherry sauce.

We recommend this cake as a light one with a fairly distinct cherry flavour enhanced by cherry liqueur.
